About Us

Our kennel is located in Humevale, which is 30 kilometers north of Melbourne, Australia. We breed exclusively from 100% European working bloodlines and aim to make a positive impact on the breed by sustaining the characteristics that have made the working Malinois suitable for all types of Sport and Service Work.

Our goal also, is to expand the genetic diversity of the working Malinois in Australia to ensure that the working ability and integrity of health is maintained well into the future.

We have selected breeding stock from proven working bloodlines for their ability to produce:

• self-assuredness and confidence in different environments
• sound nerve with high level of courage
• strong drive and determination
• high tolerance and quick recovery from stress
• high retrieval and hunt drive
• full, hard grip
• high trainability
• excellent health and physical structure

Hondenaus kennel is owned and operated by Charlotte Priest, Jamie Scott and Simon Damevski. We are dedicated to producing the best quality dogs for the purpose intended and will be utilizing the training field and working dog trials as an evaluation tool for our breeding program to help examine and test our dogs overall temperament, all-round working ability, physical structure and longevity.

We are members of Total Canine Sporting Club which is affiliated through the Australian United Sportdog Clubs (A.U.S.C.).
